Mr. Augustin Abraham holds an MBA in Marketing from the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) and a BA in Economics and International Relations. Mr. Augustin Abraham has an extensive experience of over 10 years in social and marketing research and research on the economic sector (marketing and socio-economic studies, impact studies, brand value assessment, consumer behavior, pricing strategies, qualitative and quantitative research for companies or public institutions, exit polls etc).
He is also in charge with the socio-economic analysis and marketing research at the Center for Urban and Regional Sociology in Bucharest and has been participating in studies on topics such as urban development, political and social changes, social migration and mobility, electoral behavior, consumer behavior and product testing.
Mr. Abraham also has extensive experience in program monitoring and impact evaluation, marketing and advertising campaign evaluation, opinion polls, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and has conducted/moderated hundreds of cognitive/in-depth interviews and focus-group discussions. He has been project manager, coordinator, expert or fieldwork coordinator for tens of complex national and international research projects, carried out by the Center for Urban and Regional Sociology or as a freelancer, funded by different public and private international institutions, organizations and corporations, such as the European Commission, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Organization for Migration, the National Democratic Institute, the International Republican Institute, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the US Embassy in Bucharest, the Benenson Strategy Group, the Mellman Group, UNICEF, British American Tobacco, Phillip Morris, AECOM, Chevron, TNS Opinion etc.
Additionally, he also has experience in management consultancy, strategy planning, financial product development, statistical and analytical reporting, research regarding financial markets, international and local market opportunities.
Apart from economic, marketing and social research, Mr. Abraham worked as a consultant for top Romanian financial institutions, international top consulting firms, international companies with investments in energy and oil and served as the chief advisor to the Romanian state minister of finance.more at:
