Dr Susanne Veit
Senior Researcher in the ‘Migration, Integration, Transnationalization’ at WZB
Dr Susanne Veit is a senior researcher in the ‘Migration, Integration, Transnationalization’ research groups at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB). She studied psychology at the Friedrich-Schiller University of Jena, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and University of Potsdam, and completed her dissertation at the Free University of Berlin. Her excellent dissertation (summa cum laude) was recently rewarded by the International Society of Political Psychology with a Best Dissertation Award Honorable Mention.
Susanne’s research focuses on questions that are linked to approaches in social psychology and the social sciences, such as the consequences of ethno-cultural diversity for social attitudes and behaviors and ethnic discrimination on the labor market. In her empirical research, she therefore takes a quantitative approach that often combines cross-sectional multilevel data with experimental designs.
