María Ramos is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Social Sciences of the University Carlos III of Madrid. She holds degrees in Political Science  and Sociology

(University of Salamanca) and a PhD in Applied Economics (University of Alcalá). During her doctoral studies, she did research stays at the University of Essex and the at the European University Institute in Florence. Her main research interests include labour economics, educational mismatches and migration research. Currently she is involved in the Horizon 2020 project Growth, Equal Opportunities, Migration and Markets.
